The transition to a lower-carbon future depends on more than ambition, it depends on collaboration, innovation, and the ability to bring industries together.
That was the focus of the 2026 Argus Biomass Conference, which returned to London this April, visited by over 450 global leaders and decision-makers from across the biomass and bioenergy value chain. Attended by representatives from Europe, North & South America, Asia and Africa, the event became a hub for the conversations shaping the future of sustainable energy.
About the Conference
The event required a carefully designed environment, to support international networking, premium exhibitor experiences, thought leadership sessions, and continuous engagement across three intensive days.
As Full Show Partner, we transformed the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre into a fully connected event experience through the design and delivery of more than 12 bespoke structures and feature areas across the venue.
The conference highlighted the power of events to bring industry experts together, to share new, and in this case, potentially world changing ideas. With such value in events, having the right partner is key for organisers.
Our credentials show that we are the obvious choice when delivering impactful and sustainable event environments.
How we partnered with Argus
Team Tecna operated as an extension of the Argus team, from concept through to live delivery. We managed design, build, logistics, installation, and on-site support to ensure the event ran seamlessly. The partnership removed operational pressure from the organisers, allowing the Argus team to stay focused on delivering content, experiences, and industry value at a global scale.
Including:
A large-scale registration and reception experience, engineered to seamlessly manage attendee flow and deliver a refined, memorable first impression from the moment of arrival.
Branded exhibitior environments and pavilion spaces that gave global energy leaders a professional platform to host high level meetings and showcase industry innovation
Dedicated networking loungesand thoughtfully designed informal meeting zones to encourage spontaneous conversations and relationship-building throughout the event.
Premium hospitality touchpoints, including coffee stations and integrated charging hubs to increase dwell time and enhance engagement, connectivity and interaction across the conference floor.
Custom stage features and presentation backdrops elevated the conference content experience, creating a premium setting for keynote discussions, panels, and industry announcements.
Every structure was designed not only to look impactful, but to actively support Argus Media’s wider event goals, increasing engagement, improving visitor movement and creating commercially valuable exhibitor spaces that encouraged meaningful interaction throughout the venue.
The event was completely hassle-free, as Tecna delivered almost everything we needed.
From the beginning, they showed a strong interest in the success of the event, demonstrated a real can-do attitude. They felt much more like a strategic partner than a traditional supplier.
Tecna helped create a professional and engaging atmosphere, and every area we developed together was actively used and busy throughout the event. That speaks volumes and means a lot to us.
Making a Difference
Sustainability sat at the heart of the project. Utilising reusable modular systems, recyclable materials, renewable energy, and detailed carbon reporting. Our Circular Exhibition Design approach helped reduce waste while delivering a high-impact experience for attendees and exhibitors alike.
More than just building a conference, the project demonstrated how events themselves evolve, creating spaces that not only bring industries together, but do so in a smarter, more sustainable, and more commercially effective way.
