Nebius: A Calm, Hospitality-Led Brand Environment

At The AI Summit London 2026, with more than five thousand attendees and a hundred-plus exhibitors packed into Tobacco Dock for London Tech Week’s headline AI event, Nebius, the AI cloud company, took the braver route and went the other way.

The ambition was a space that felt calm, considered and genuinely adult, somewhere closer to a members’ club than a trade stand, rendered in their unmistakable bright yellow so it still commanded attention from across the floor. Tecna designed and built that 121.5sqm environment as one of four branded suites we delivered as Full Show Partner across the venue, and it became one of the most aesthetically assured spaces we have produced in recent memory.

This is the story of how restraint, detail and atmosphere turned a first-time suite into a room people did not want to leave.

The Brief: Standing Out By Slowing People Down

A show floor full of AI companies is, by its nature, a competition of noise. Screens compete with screens, claims compete with claims, and the visitor arrives already a little overwhelmed before they have reached the first stand. Nebius understood that the way to win attention in that environment was not to add to the noise, but to offer relief from it. The brief, in the team’s own shorthand, was Soho House vibes in bright yellow, a space that felt warm, calm and grown-up, where senior buyers would happily sit down, settle in and stay for a proper conversation rather than a passing hello.

That is a sharper commercial strategy than it first appears. In a room competing on volume, comfort and atmosphere become the genuine differentiator, because they are what extend dwell time and turn footfall into the longer, higher-value conversations that an enterprise sales cycle actually needs. Add a dedicated broadcast space for podcasts, and the suite was designed to do more than host conversations on the day. It was built to capture content that would carry Nebius’s presence far beyond the walls of Tobacco Dock.

The Creative Approach: a Members’ Club in Signature Yellow

Nebius came to the project with a clear vision and a relaxed, confident approach to their brand, which gave our design team room to focus entirely on execution and atmosphere. The result balanced two things that do not always sit together easily, a calm and moody adult mood on one hand, and the energy of a bold yellow brand colour on the other. Handled carelessly, bright yellow shouts. Handled with restraint, as it was here, it becomes a warm, confident signature that draws the eye without tiring it.

The build was a hybrid, majority modular for efficiency and speed, dressed with fabric, semi-rigid panels and bespoke woodwork to give the space the softness and tactility a hospitality-led design demands. At its heart sat a bespoke wooden planter, custom built as the centrepiece of the suite and the anchor around which the rest of the layout flowed.

The space was zoned with intent, with a large-scale demo area, a “Meet the Experts” bar for one-to-one product conversations, dedicated breakout meeting areas, generous hospitality, and the broadcast studio, each given enough room to breathe so the whole suite felt considered rather than crowded.

The Detail that Elevated the Space

What lifted this suite from handsome to memorable was the obsession with the finer extras, the parts of a design that most exhibitors overlook entirely. The team handpicked the lamps, brought in real plants, and even placed individual rocks inside the bespoke planter, the kind of detail nobody briefs and everybody notices. Carefully designed LED lighting features wrapped the bar and gave the whole environment its warm, moody glow. Nebius’s own touches, from branded cans to bespoke coffee cups, completed the hospitality feel and gave visitors something to carry away with them.

It is in this layering of small, deliberate decisions that the Tecna approach shows itself, because atmosphere is never one big gesture. It is a hundred considered choices working together, and on this suite every one of them pulled in the same direction.

Designing Around a Heritage Venue

Tobacco Dock is a beautiful and historic venue, and like all heritage spaces it comes with fixed elements that simply cannot move. On this project that meant designing around the building’s air conditioning, its fire extinguishers and its power outlets, all of which had to remain exactly where they were and fully accessible.

Rather than letting those constraints compromise the look, our team planned the layout so the fixed services were absorbed cleanly into the design, keeping the clean, calm aesthetic intact without ever obstructing the building’s safety infrastructure.

Planning for Every Scenario

One one element we kept a close eye on was a large bright yellow vinyl, a hero piece of the brand finish that, given the colour, ran the risk of marking or scuffing under two days of heavy footfall.

Rather than hope for the best, we produced a spare and held it in reserve, so that whatever the show floor threw at it, Nebius’s branding would look as crisp at the close on day two as it did at the opening on day one. That is the kind of quiet contingency planning that protects a client without them ever needing to think about it.

A Responsible Centrepiece

Sustainability sits at the heart of how Tecna works, and this project carried a genuine reuse story rather than a token one. The bespoke wooden planter, the showpiece at the centre of the suite, was built to last and is being retained for reuse on future projects rather than treated as single-event waste.

Paired with a majority-modular base that is designed for reconfiguration, the suite delivered a premium, bespoke-feeling result while keeping the responsible use of materials firmly in view.

From Concept to Completion in Six Weeks

This was Nebius’s first suite at The AI Summit, and it was delivered on budget from brief at the end of April to a finished, detail-rich hospitality environment in roughly six weeks. For a first outing at the show, the suite set a high bar, and across our own team it stands out as one of the most aesthetically accomplished spaces we have built recently.
