You build an exhibition stand by setting clear goals, understanding who you want to attract and planning a layout that’s open, visible and easy to move through. From there, it’s about designing large-scale graphics people can read from a distance, choosing colours and lighting that guide attention, and adding interactive elements like demos or touchscreens that invite people to step in. Furniture, storage and meeting areas are planned around real conversations, then everything is built, installed and checked on site so it’s safe, polished and ready to perform.
Done right, it becomes a brand experience that draws a crowd, keeps people engaged and delivers real results on the show floor.
How big your bespoke exhibition stand should be will depend on your budget and objectives as well as the products or services you are promoting. An entry level exhibition stand could be 3 X 2 sqm while large double decker exhibition stands can be hundreds of square metres in size. Look at your budget for the exhibition and plan the budget for space accordingly. However take into account that the budget should be split approximately 50% for space, 30% for stand build and 20% for exhibition services such as power, marketing and staff costs.
To make exhibition display stands pop in a crowd at trade shows, use bold, eye-catching, custom-printed graphics and vibrant colours for visibility from afar. Create an inviting layout with exhibition counters and striking features that encourages flow, and incorporate interactive brand activations to engage visitors. Memorable experiences leave a lasting impression, drawing attendees in and ensuring your brand stays top of mind.
